This is for you Aunt Cissie...

2 weekends ago we visited my parents in GA and went to a hot air balloon festival and carnival. Addy enjoyed the carousel with mom several times over, as this was the only ride Gran would ride :).

Ok, here they are, we are so a work in progress. This is the foyer and to your right is the dining room and to the left is the living room.

Dining room...

Living room...

This is the study, you enter it room the rear of the living room. The open door on the right is the master bedroom door. The door in the middle is the nursery.

master Bedroom...

Master Bath...

The door way with book shelves on the right is the study that enters the hallway and has the stairs to go up to a couple of bedrooms, I'll have to post pics later of them.

This is going up the steps to the girls rooms.
This will be Harley's room once finished...

This is Harley's room, reversed...
Addy's room is now PURPLE and is right at the top of the steps...
This is a sitting area that we hope to eventually make into an upstairs bathroom...
This is going to be the pink bedrooom when finished....
This is back down stairs, the sunroom, which is down the hall and to the left.

Laundry/Pantry room...

Kitchen...
The infamous pink bathroom.... Kitchen going into dining room...
Red room as we call it coming from kitchen.
Basement...

I would be remiss by not sharing our honey bee story. Stan noticed a good many bees flying in and around the living room window soon after we moved in. Long story short...we had a bee hive in our wall!!! Stan bought this radar thermometer to locate exactly where the hive was (because they keep their hive at a particular temp) and then drilled several holes (the drill bit came out with honey dripping off it!) and puffed some special bee insecticide in it which was a little eerie
because they went crazy and made a lot of buzzing noise and we could hear. After a few days he cut out the plaster and removed the hive, which was 3 layers thick in some spots! It was a mess.

Here he is holding one layer of it.

THE END!!!

NEWs

We are offically up but not yet fully running in our new (really old) house! We have just fallen in love with our new city-Athens, AL. We live in the country but are only 4 miles away from the "city." We have been really busy renovating it, we started by refinishing hardwood floors in the original part of the house and removing wallpaper from plaster. The list is truely unending at this time. We are both overwhelmed. But, here it is:2494 S. Hine St. Athens, Al.

More good news, we are having another baby. Yeah! We are 14 weeks along and the baby should be here in November.
More to come at a later date...
